Harlequins centre Kerr signs first senior deal
"I have been at the Club since I was 14 years old, so I'm very pleased and excited to be staying at Quins,"
"It's just about gaining as much experience at the top level as I can, you can see this year with Zach (Carr), Cass (Cleaves) and Waggers (Ben Waghorn) last year, how those lads have grown with the opportunities they've earned and the players they're becoming."
"That's what it's about as a young player working hard, earning those opportunities and then taking them when they come."
Sean Kerr has signed his first senior contract with Premiership club Harlequins. He joined the Quins academy at age 14 and has made 14 first-team appearances. He was part of the England U20 Six Nations Championship-winning side in 2024 and played in the Red Roses team that won the Junior World Championship the same year. Kerr expressed enthusiasm about staying at Harlequins and intends to gain top-level experience. He cited examples of younger teammates who developed through opportunities and emphasized working hard, earning chances, and taking them when they come.
