Five cabinet ministers, including James Browne, Darragh O'Brien, Norma Foley, James Lawless and Dara Calleary, reported receiving coaching from Mr Yates. The Taoiseach stated that comments suggesting Fine Gael should run a smear campaign should not be linked to the training. Coalition partners are managing the political fallout and say that relationships between the parties are not damaged despite the revelations.
