Hype FC CEO claims to have offered lucrative contract to Georgio Poullas
"My final offer to him was $2.6 million for seven matches. I think this must be the biggest contract in wrestling history. Maybe he didn't believe we could actually afford that amount of pay. That's what he actually said, 'I don't believe you'll pay me this money, it's too big.'"
Georgio Poullas and Arman Tsarukyan competed in a freestyle wrestling match at RAF 6, which Tsarukyan won by points after Poullas committed multiple fouls. A post-match altercation ensued when Tsarukyan punched Poullas. Hype FC subsequently booked a rematch in submission-only grappling format for March 11 in Rio De Janeiro. However, Poullas withdrew within hours, preferring freestyle wrestling competition at RAF. Hype FC CEO Armand Martirosian offered Poullas $2.6 million for seven bouts, claiming it represents one of wrestling's largest contracts. Poullas allegedly rejected the offer, expressing skepticism about its legitimacy. The rematch is now scheduled for RAF 7 on March 28 in Tampa.
