A variant of the Xiaomi 18 Ultra may use the Xring O3, Xiaomi's upcoming in-house chipset
"The Xring O3 will do away with the 'big' tier, with the 'little' tier taking over its role. The new 'prime' cores are expected to exceed 4GHz."
"Xiaomi will increase the GPU clock speed by 0.3GHz, marking a 25% boost. The GPU design is likely to be an ARM Mali G1-Ultra."
Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 15S Pro with the Xring O1 chipset last year. The upcoming Xiaomi 18 Ultra will feature the next-generation Xring O3 chipset, expected in December. This model will not have a global release and will be limited to China. The Xring O3 will have a redesigned CPU structure, eliminating the 'big' tier and increasing clock speeds. The GPU will also see a 25% speed increase, while RAM speed remains unchanged. The Xring O3 may debut with the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 in August.
