Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's display size leaks again
"If you've been wondering what to expect from Samsung's next flagship smartphone in terms of screen size, the answer is allegedly - a very tiny improvement. The S26 Ultra is said to boast a 6.89" panel, which the company will most likely round up to 6.9" in its marketing materials. And guess what the Galaxy S25 Ultra's screen size is? Allegedly 6.86" exactly, but Samsung is rounding that up to the exact same 6.9"."
"Now, while there will only be the tiniest upgrade to the screen's size, Samsung will reportedly pack the panel with "surprises", according to the leaker that goes by Ice Universe. What those will be, unfortunately wasn't detailed, but we should apparently expect "some of Samsung's core display technologies" to be used, whatever that means. We'd speculate by saying that while the size will remain pretty much the same, the S26 Ultra's panel will be better than the one in its predecessor in other ways."
Samsung's S26 Ultra is expected to use a 6.89-inch display that will be marketed as 6.9 inches, compared with the S25 Ultra's 6.86-inch panel also rounded to 6.9 inches. The panel will include unspecified "surprises" and some of Samsung's core display technologies, suggesting improvements beyond size. Camera changes are mixed: the 5x telephoto appears unchanged, the 3x telephoto may be downgraded, and the main camera keeps the same sensor but widens the aperture to f/1.4, allowing 47% more light to reach the sensor. A January release is anticipated.
