Brighton Pride 2026 announces Diana Ross and RAYE as headliners
"Chart-topping "Where Is My Husband?" singer RAYE will take to the stage as the headliner on Saturday 2 August, while "I'm Coming Out" hitmaker Diana Ross will lead the party in a UK festival exclusive on Sunday 3 August. It's the third time that seven-time BRIT award-winner RAYE will have performed at Brighton Pride's festivities, while Ross is making her debut at the LGBTQ+ event."
"Ross, 81, is best known as the "Queen of Motown" and as the lead singer of The Supremes. Her mammoth string of hits includes "Chain Reaction", "You Can't Hurry Love", "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Upside Down". The latter returned to the UK's official top 40 music chart earlier this year for the first time in 45 years, due to the song featuring in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things."
RAYE will headline Pride On The Park on Saturday 2 August and will perform top-40 hits and material from her new album This Music May Contain Hope, released 27 March. Diana Ross will headline on Sunday 3 August in a UK festival exclusive, performing career-spanning hits from her time with The Supremes and solo work. Ross, 81, is known as the Queen of Motown; her song "Upside Down" re-entered the UK top 40 after appearing in Stranger Things season five. The festival marks the 35th anniversary of Brighton & Hove Pride, which began in 1991 in response to Section 28 and continued after its 2003 abolition.
