""We were all writing together, following instinct," Saleh said in a press statement. "[Bon Iver]'s enthusiasm, emotional honesty, and melodic intuition made everything feel effortless. What stayed with me most was how he continued to show up afterward, excited by the demos, retracking vocals, and helping shape arrangements as the songs evolved.""
Of Earth & Wires, set for May 15 on Ghostly International, features collaborations with Bon Iver and new songs "Flood" and "Glow" with accompanying music videos. Billy Lemos executive-produced the record and the tracklist includes Gaidaa and aja monet. Dua Saleh released their debut album I Should Call Them in 2024 after a trilogy of EPs in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Saleh and Bon Iver previously collaborated on the 2020 song "Bloodrush" and co-wrote Travis Scott's 2023 song "My Eyes." The duo's third official collaboration emerged during a Minneapolis recording session. "Flood" draws on Saleh's experiences with climate-related flooding in Cardiff, and Bon Iver contributed to demos, retracked vocals, and helped shape arrangements.
