Hilary Duff's Return to Music Is for the Gays
""You know it's all for them. It's just to impress them.""
"calling something that was lame & "gay" when you're "wearing a skirt as a top"? Ouch."
""All of the things are happening. I can't give up too much information or everyone's gonna kill me, but I am dancing," Duff teased. "Everything's in motion. It's exciting.""
Hilary Duff is returning to music and expresses that much of her motivation comes from her gay fans. She has long served as an LGBT ally and was a 2008 spokesperson against using "gay" as derogatory language, appearing in a commercial confronting homophobic slang among young people. Her last album, Breathe In Breathe Out, was released ten years ago. Duff teases that new projects and activity are underway and hints at more details and performances while fans anticipate music, possible touring, and celebrate her by dressing as her for Halloween.
