To memorialize the occasion, Kronos Quartet recorded two covers of Bob Dylan's 'A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall,' which Dylan wrote after the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
The first version, 'Hard Rain,' features a variety of artists including Iggy Pop, Willie Nelson, and Tanya Tagaq, supported by Kronos Quartet.
Later this evening, Kronos Quartet and Allison Russell will stage a livestreamed performance at the University of Chicago as part of a nuclear war prevention conference.
