This represents Josh Tillman's second new Father John Misty song of 2026, following the January release 'The Old Law.' Tillman's most recent full-length album, Mahashmashana, arrived in 2024, and he continues touring internationally with dates scheduled across Europe, the UK, and North America throughout summer. In 2025, he also released a collection of demos from the sessions that produced his 2015 breakthrough album, I Love You, Honeybear.
