Massive Attack announce alliance of musicians speaking out over Gaza
Briefly

Massive Attack, Brian Eno, Fontaines DC, and Kneecap formed a syndicate to support artists against pro-Israel censorship related to the Gaza conflict. They aim to protect vulnerable artists from intimidation campaigns led by organizations like UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI). Several artists have faced repercussions for speaking out, including canceled performances and police reports. The syndicate's statement expresses serious concern about the implications for artistic freedom and condemns the campaigns intended to silence dissenting voices in the music industry regarding the situation in Gaza.
The scenes in Gaza have moved beyond description. We write as artists who've chosen to use our public platforms to speak out against the genocide occurring there and the role of the UK government in facilitating it.
We’re aware of the scale of aggressive, vexatious campaigns operated by UKLFI and of multiple individual incidences of intimidation within the music industry itself, designed solely to censor and silence artists from speaking their hearts and minds.
