"After announcing their brief, eight-concert 'Deadbeat Tour' - which comes in support of the group's upcoming fifth studio album due out Oct. 17 - they've added four more dates to their 2025 calendar. That means the trippy rockers now headline at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Monday, Oct. 27, Tuesday, Oct. 28, Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1. Kevin Parker and co.'s other new shows go down at Oakland's Oakland Arena (Nov. 15) and Los Angeles' Kia Forum (Nov. 17)."
""...the thumping, house-inspired track ['End of Summer']...seems to split the difference between the most upbeat modes of Tame Impala's last album, 2020's 'The Slow Rush,' and his dance pop-centered production work for the likes of Dua Lipa and Mark Ronson," Consequence explained. "It's not exactly a 'Tame Impala-goes-full-EDM' pivot, though, with psychedelic synths cascading throughout the song and a bumping bassline beneath.""
Tame Impala announced an expanded Deadbeat Tour for fall 2025 supporting their fifth studio album due Oct. 17. The tour grew from eight to twelve concerts, including four headline nights at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Oct. 27, 28, 31 and Nov. 1, plus new stops at Oakland Arena (Nov. 15) and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles (Nov. 17). Kevin Parker performed at Barcelona's Primavera Festival in June, debuting the lead single 'End of Summer.' The single blends thumping house-inspired rhythms with psychedelic synths and a bumping bassline. The group previously toured in 2022-23 for The Slow Rush and earned Grammy recognition.
