Watch Minus The Bear return at surprise 'Menos El Oso' tour warmup show
"Minus The Bear are back after a seven-year hiatus to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic sophomore album Menos El Oso, with a new expanded reissue out and plans to perform the album in full on tour this fall. Before that though, they warmed up with a last-minute, very intimate hometown show at Seattle's 170-capacity Sunset Tavern on Saturday (8/23)."
"The proper tour begins on October 3 at Tacoma, WA's Spanish Ballroom at Elks Temple, and it includes a stop at Las Vegas' Best Friends Forever festival before coming to NYC for three shows: Brooklyn Steel on November 7, and Irving Plaza on November 8 & 9. The first two nights are with Speedy Ortiz and the 11/9 show is with Wild Arrows."
"The warmup show came one day after the release of the 20th anniversary deluxe edition of Menos El Oso via Suicide Squeeze that features a remastered version of the original album on one 12", and five unreleased original demos and an etching by bassist Cory Murchy on the flip side of the other, along with a 24-page archive photo journal from the band's personal collection called Los Archivos Del Oso."
