Jacob's Pickles, a well-known restaurant and bar in NYC, was closed by the Health Department due to health code violations related to facility damage. The closure is expected to last around two days, as the establishment aims to ensure the safety of its patrons. In a note to the community, the restaurant expressed gratitude for the health issue being addressed. Additionally, they highlighted plans to move to a larger location on Columbus Avenue while transitioning the old space into a new bar.
Due to an issue uncovered by the Department of Health - referencing damaged areas of facilities - it's the necessary decision to temporarily close our doors for what we expect will be two days.
As many of you know, our neighborhood and this building is full of history - but with that charm comes the reality of age and the need for serious upgrades.
