Beginning July 26 and running through August 23, New Yorkers will experience 22 miles of car-free streets. These streets will be open to pedestrians, cyclists, and families every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year's event includes a new continuous route through Manhattan, starting at the Brooklyn Bridge and ending in Inwood. Each Saturday will offer various free programming, art, fitness, and cultural activities, enhancing community engagement in public spaces.
Summer Streets is set to return this Saturday, July 26, and will run for five consecutive Saturdays through August 23.
This year's program will feature more than 22 miles of car-free streets across all five boroughs.
From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Saturday, New Yorkers will enjoy miles of streets open to pedestrians, cyclists, and families.
