Illuminate and SF Rec and Park will host the 5th Season of free live music at the Golden Gate Bandshell in 2025. This season celebrates the Bandshell's 125th anniversary with more than 125 performances scheduled from March through mid-November. Concerts will occur primarily on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, alongside select Saturdays, attracting over 250,000 attendees annually. The renovation of the Bandshell in 2020 provided it with top-tier sound and lighting systems, enhancing its role as a crucial center for independent music within Golden Gate Park, which sees over 23 million visitors each year.
The 2025 season at the Golden Gate Bandshell will feature free concerts every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, focusing on diverse music genres, celebrating the Bandshell's 125th anniversary.
