Ho99o9 announce new album, unleash single "Upside Down"
Briefly

Ho99o9, the genre-blending collective known for their fusion of hip-hop, metal, and punk, has announced a new album, Tomorrow We Escape, set for release on September 9. The lead single 'Upside Down' represents a shift in the band's approach to songwriting, focusing on relatable emotions rather than purely political themes. Vocalist theOGM emphasized the intent to explore personal struggles through their music, aiming to inspire listeners. The accompanying music video presents a dystopian narrative where the Chinese Yuan is the global currency and water is a black market item. Ho99o9 will also perform live at upcoming events.
When we started this process, we knew we wanted to make more relatable songs. It was a healthy challenge to focus on emotion.
In the past, a lot of our material was politically charged. That element is present to a degree, but we wanted to take a more personal route.
Everybody has a struggle. The goal is to find motivation for preservation.
The video for the song 'Upside Down' is set in a world where the Chinese Yuan is world currency and water has become a black market commodity.
