A New York City-style deli is coming to State College. When will it open?
Briefly

Entrepreneur Hamzah Mozeb is set to launch Brooklyn Bodega at 340 E. College Ave in State College, inspired by traditional New York City-style delis. This convenient store will feature grab-and-go snacks, deli meats, breakfast items, and essentials like groceries with extended hours from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m., potentially 24 hours based on demand. Having worked in family-owned bodegas, Mozeb is excited to serve students and locals alike, aiming to create a one-stop shop for community needs before and after classes.
If you need a coffee and a bagel in the morning, you could get it. If you wanted lunch, it's here. Something to drink, you've got it.
The incoming deli will offer a wide range of grab-and-go snacks, groceries, and food options, including breakfast sandwiches and deli meats.
I hope to have my deli open in August or shortly after Penn State's fall semester begins. I expect to have the store open from roughly 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
I spent years working in several bodega-style stores owned by my family, all while balancing my own college studies in the Big Apple.
