Jamar Brown posted 13 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and team-high 28 minutes in UCLA's 94-64 exhibition win over UC Irvine. Brown began his college career at the junior college level and spent two seasons in the Summit League before joining UCLA. Brown logged team highs in rebounds and steals and showcased a relentless, max-effort playing style. Eric Dailey Jr. is considered doubtful for the season opener against Eastern Washington due to a strained knee; Dailey has returned to practice but is unlikely to play because of limited remaining practices. The Bruins entered the season ranked No. 12.
