Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft are both advancing in the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2026 selection process and could end up competing for induction. Belichick was named among 12 coaching candidates for the Class of 2026. Kraft advanced as one of 21 contributors moving to the next stage. Committee nomination structures limit the number of yearly submissions: the seniors committee can submit three nominees, while the coaches and contributors committees can each submit only one. The numerical limits mean that if both are nominees in their respective categories, it will be difficult for both to be elected in the same year.
