Joe Alt will undergo season-ending ankle surgery for a high right ankle sprain sustained when Sebastian Joseph-Day fell into his right ankle during the Chargers' win over the Tennessee Titans. This marks Alt's second high ankle sprain of the season after he exited Week 4's loss to the New York Giants and missed three games. Pro Bowl tackle Rashawn Slater already suffered a season-ending patellar tendon rupture in training camp. Right guard Mekhi Becton has been repeatedly injured and missed Sunday's game. Right tackle Bobby Hart left Sunday's game with groin and ankle injuries after contact with Dre'Mont Jones. Offensive-line injuries have hampered run blocking and protection.
