Devin McCourty criticized the voting outcome and questioned the Hall of Fame process, arguing selection should be a clear yes-or-no determination. The five-person ballot also included L.C. Greenwood, Roger Craig, and Ken Anderson. McCourty warned the omissions could overshadow the enshrinement ceremony.
