Kayshon Boutte is buying into Drake Maye MVP hype: 'I think it's the truth'
"But the fans have been awesome all season. It's been really cool really to see the difference from last year to this year. Man, it's been a journey. "They've been through it, and the fans have been through it the last couple years. So it's just credit to them. .... I know the fans have been awesome. Like I said, I think they're the best fans in the league, and they continue to show out every week."
"I mean, y'all see what I see. ... I think Drake's doing everything they're doing."
Drake Maye completed 18-of-24 passes for three touchdowns, one interception and 332 total yards while leading the Patriots to a win at Gillette Stadium. Cleveland's defense, which entered allowing 16.1 points per game, surrendered 32 points and 422 yards, with 16 plays of 10-plus yards. Myles Garrett and the Browns recorded five sacks and five quarterback hits on Maye, but pressure did not prevent a dominant third quarter where Maye was 6-of-6 for 82 yards and three touchdowns, including a 39-yard TD to Kayshon Boutte. Fans chanted "MVP" in the third quarter. Maye credited fans' support and downplayed MVP talk.
