A 10-year-old boy was critically injured in a collision with a Nissan van driven by a 47-year-old man in Crown Heights. The incident occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. as the boy was crossing the Eastern Parkway service road near Albany Avenue. Following the incident, the child was transported to Maimonides Medical Center for treatment. The driver remained at the scene of the accident, and as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Police say a 47-year-old driver of a Nissan van collided with the boy, who was crossing the Eastern Parkway service road near Albany Avenue.
The child was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. No arrests have been made at this time.
