I think my experience and my knowledge of how this works, recruiting and going on visits, because I've been there, I've done it. I was the No. 1 one guy in the country who had to deal with these type of things. My message to him was, I want you to enjoy this recruiting process. Just enjoy it. Take the visits, go on the visits you want to go on.
I was sharing earlier with Mo that it means so much to so many young Muslim kids to know that someone on the team we love is fasting the same way. In a country awash in anti-Islamic bigotry where a GOP member of Congress can post Muslims don't belong in American society without a single member of his party condemning his words, representation and visibility remain a necessity.

A 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman answered a knock at their door just before 9:30 p.m. Friday near Vandalia and Fountain avenues in response to a woman claiming to represent a cleaning agency. Instead, the pair was met by two men and a woman, all armed, who forced their way inside their home and to the bedroom, authorities say.
If I'm thinking about playing well to make sure I get paid, that could mess with me, Brunson said. I play best when I have a free mind, and that did that for me. A lot of people say I sacrificed for the team. 100% I sacrificed for the team. But most importantly, I made sure my family and I are taken care of Obviously, we'd love for them to do right by me. I think anyone would. I feel like I sacrificed.
Free-agent forward Jeremy Sochan is signing with the New York Knicks after he clears waivers, according to his agent, Deirunas Visockas. Per ESPN, the deal is for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. Sochan was released by the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday and had as many as 10 teams showing interest. But the Knicks win the sweepstakes a week after a trade deadline in which they failed to bring in the wing depth that they had been looking for.
