Getting to know the Knicks' newest assistant coach, Riccardo Fois

Riccardo Fois has joined the New York Knicks as a player development coach under head coach Mike Brown. At only 38 years old, Fois brings substantial coaching experience, including work with the Italian National U-16 team, a stint at Pepperdine University, and five years at Gonzaga. Fois contributed to Gonzaga's successful postseason runs and worked with the United States national team in the 2015 Pan American Games. He most recently served as director of player development for the Phoenix Suns, participating in their 2021 Finals run and building rapport with players like Mikal Bridges.
Riccardo is one of the hardest working people I know. All he cares about is helping people improve and winning.
He helped me a lot to develop my game and never let me feel too comfortable.
