Mika Zibanejad should be the Rangers 2C to start the season - Blue Seat Blogs
Briefly

Mika Zibanejad is the best candidate for the Rangers' 2C position at the start of the season. Zibanejad has performed well alongside JT Miller, the Rangers' 1C. The Rangers need depth at center but are currently thin in that position, relying on Vincent Trocheck and Sam Carrick for middle and fourth-line roles. Juuso Parssinen, though a prospect, is not yet suited for a prominent role. Allowing young wingers to develop is crucial, and Zibanejad's position should prioritize their growth over a potential center shift.
The Rangers have their 1C in JT Miller, a middle six center in Vincent Trocheck, and a 4C in Sam Carrick.
Zibanejad should be the Rangers 2C, not the 3C.
The point is to let the kids play at wing to see what the Rangers have.
Juuso Parssinen can be fine, but thrusting him into this kind of role right now probably isn't the best.
