A California mother, Lizeth Alvarado, experienced panic when she received an email with the subject line "Isaiah is blue." Expecting a serious issue, she was relieved to find out her toddler had simply gotten covered in blue paint during craft time. The daycare's message included a photo of Isaiah, who was very much blue, and reassured her that they managed to clean him up as best as they could. Parents on TikTok shared their reactions, expressing their relief that the situation had a humorous end.
The subject line read: "Isaiah is blue." Had they tried calling and she somehow missed it? "It definitely caught me off guard," Lizeth Alvarado, 29, tells TODAY.com.
Alvarado opened the message and burst into laughter. She discovered that her 2-year-old son, Isaiah, had gotten a little too creative during craft time.
"The teachers wiped off what they could using baby wipes," the note explained. Attached was a photo of Isaiah standing on a table in his diaper, completely and unmistakably blue.
Alvarado shared the story on TikTok, where countless parents responded, saying they would have been beside themselves if they'd received a similar update from their child's school.
