Olivia and Liam topped the 2025 baby name lists for girls and boys for the seventh consecutive year. The top 10 for boys stayed largely unchanged, with the first four names in the same order as the previous year and the remaining names shifting by one or two positions. The top 10 for girls also largely matched the prior year, with Olivia, Isabella, and Evelyn holding their spots, Ava dropping out, and Eliana moving into the 10th position. The Social Security Administration publishes the 1,000 most popular names annually. It also tracks names that rose most during the year, including Kasai for boys and Klarity for girls. Classic names with slight variations are gaining traction.
