"The initial plan was for him to be placed in a foster home until he had gained enough weight to safely be neutered. Thanks to the incredible work of veterinary, clinic, and shelter staff, he has already gained seven pounds and is able to be neutered tomorrow."
"Thus far, we've learned that he is sweet, gentle, and enjoys slow walks with lots of things to sniff. Although he does still have weight to gain, he can continue to do this in the comfort of a home of his own."

Initially expected to take weeks to gain weight, he has gained seven pounds and is ready for adoption this weekend. Balboa, a Cane Corso mix, was rescued by Boston Animal Control and has been at the MSPCA-Angell Boston Adoption Center. He is described as sweet and gentle, enjoying slow walks.
