"In a dystopian future where sensation is regulated and memory is digital, one hybrid body reclaims control through flesh. FLESH+CTRL is a black-and-white analogue editorial exploring post-human sensuality, rebellion, and transformation. The model becomes a living interface marked with tattoo stencils, adorned in upcycled denim, fetish lace, and salvaged jewellery. Each piece is a relic of a lost world, worn to spark emotion, memory, and physical presence in an era of disconnection."
"Ines Jacquinot is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary creative, stylist, designer, and all-around project maker. She loves creating with friends and uplifting fellow creatives, remembering why this work is meaningful in the first place. This editorial sparked spontaneously when tattoo artist Avant Gardener was in town, and photographer Javier Cerrada, with whom Ines had long wanted to collaborate, joined the project. Featuring exclusively independent Berlin designers, it celebrates the city's underground creative energy."
A dystopian setting frames a focus on regulated sensation and digitized memory, where a hybrid body reclaims control through tactile experience. Black-and-white analogue imagery emphasizes contrasts between softness and sharpness, skin and system, intimacy and power. The model functions as a living interface, marked with tattoo stencils and styled in upcycled denim, fetish lace, and salvaged jewellery that act as relics of a lost world. Collaborative Berlin creatives—including a photographer, tattoo artist, stylist, makeup and nail artists—assemble independent designs to celebrate underground energy and the persistence of physical feeling in an era of disconnection.
