Planet Hollywood is set to reopen a larger poker room after having closed its previous venue in 2021. The new room will feature 23 tables, including 12 for cash games, and aims to enhance the poker experience on the Las Vegas Strip. With gothic décor, a balcony, and plans for live-streaming, the venue also plans to host daily tournaments alongside a new mixed game series. Management highlighted its unique elevated view and intends to attract mid-stakes players, revitalizing the propertyâs poker scene with ambitious plans for future tournaments.
"I don't think there's a poker room on an elevated level like this that has an overview of everything going on below you," one of the room managers and poker industry veteran Anthony Mink told PokerNews.
Ownership said they plan on reviving those two stops and bring the back to Planet Hollywood. The last Planet Hollywood Circuit stop was a 16-event series in November 2019.
