PokePark Kanto is officially opening in 2026, and now I'm changing my Honeymoon plans
Briefly

PokéPark Kanto is set to open in Spring 2026 as a designated area within Tokyo's Yomiuriland attraction, covering about 26,000 square meters. The park will include two main sections: Pokémon Forest, filled with Pokémon encounters, and Sedge Town, featuring shopping experiences reminiscent of a Pokémon town. Chief Creative Fellow Junichi Masuda revealed additional details, stating that over 600 Pokémon will be in PokéPark, including rideable Pokémon. The park aims to capture the essence of Pokémon's gaming world with areas such as a Pokémon Centre and Gym.
"Set to officially open its doors in Spring 2026, PokéPark Kanto won't be a standalone Pokémon theme park in itself, but an area set within Tokyo's existing Yomiuriland attraction, comprising around 26,000 square meters."
"In a recent interview with The Yomiuri Shimbun, Junichi Masuda - The Pokémon Company's Chief Creative Fellow - has unveiled a few extra details about the development of PokéPark Kanto, which has me unbelievably excited."
Masuda suggested that there are over 600 Pokémon in PokéPark, and 'there are also Pokémon that visitors can ride on' (I seriously hope there's a Lapras).
