Anna Downes, a musician from Worcestershire, reported being cyberflashed by Ben Gunnery after they met once at work. After receiving explicit images and feeling violated, she reported the incident to West Mercia Police in September. It took almost six months for Gunnery to be arrested, convicted, and given a two-year community order. Ms Downes stated she felt like a nuisance and noted the need for law enforcement to take cyberflashing seriously. She had sent evidence, including images and social media links, but felt the police response was inadequate.
