Chelsea is looking to permanently offload goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as they maneuver through their current struggles with goalkeepers. With players like Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, and Djordje Petrovic in the mix, Kepa faces no future at Stamford Bridge. Bournemouth, currently on a loan deal for Kepa, is expected to look elsewhere due to financial constraints. Real Madrid's Andriy Lunin may vacate his spot, possibly opening a door for Kepa's return, despite concerns he may only serve as backup again.
Even with Chelsea's goalkeeper struggles this season, going back and forth between Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen, there is no future for Kepa back at Stamford Bridge.
Andriy Lunin could leave Real Madrid and create a space, as he has received offers that he has made known to the Madrid hierarchy.
Kepa has already been linked with Real Madrid. A report last month suggested the Spanish giants have resurrected past interest in the Chelsea stopper.
The downside for Kepa, however, is that returning to the Bernabeu would only see him inherit Lunin's role after a season as an important stand-in.
