Zillow added an in-app messaging feature that lets homebuyers chat with co-shoppers and share listings, consolidating conversations into a single channel to reduce missed messages. Users can invite a partner, roommate, or friend to their in-app inbox to coordinate searches. Zillow reports more than 60% of buyers shop with at least one other person. The fall product launch also introduced AI-powered virtual staging for Zillow Showcase listings, Zillow Home Loans verified pre-approval to speed mortgage readiness, a Closing dashboard built with Spruce to track title and escrow tasks, and a Rentals AI assist powered by EliseAI.
