Ginny Wu, a Taiwanese-American, relocated to Taipei after participating in a startup immersion program. Growing up in a small, predominantly white town in California, she often felt the complexities of her dual identity. Her family history of immigration shaped her perspective on the American dream, emphasizing opportunities for future generations. Although initially resistant to learning Mandarin, her experiences have deepened her appreciation for her cultural background. Now, in Taiwan, Wu aims to build her career while embracing her heritage and developing a clearer sense of identity.
