Al Cappiello, 76, and Elizabeth Bly, 51, celebrated their marriage at RiverSpring Living's Nursing Home in the Bronx, where they first met. Surrounded by family, fellow residents, and the facility's therapy dog, they exchanged vows and rings. Cappiello expressed belief in love at any age, while Bly shared her happiness. The couple meticulously planned the wedding details, including a Greek-inspired backdrop and purple tablecloths. Other residents participated as groomsmen and bridesmaids, while a therapist sang "At Last" as Bly walked down the aisle.
"Anything is possible. You can find love anywhere - age is just a number," Cappiello told The Post after cementing his nuptials.
"I'm very lucky. I'm so, so, so happy," said Bly, originally from Harlem.
"Did you ever hear the words? 'At last my love has come along.' The way that I feel, the way she feels. It's romantic!" said Capiello.
Bly walked down in front of their friends and family - including her son, Sean, 34 - as Jennifer Olegario, the home's occupational therapist, sang Etta James' "At Last."
