Zelenskyy emphasized the need for decisive action, urging that inaction makes allies complicit in the ongoing violence. He described Russian leaders as consumed by hatred, asserting they could only be countered with robust measures, including diplomacy, sanctions, and military support. The war has resulted in over 12,000 civilian deaths since its inception.
“If someone does not put pressure and gives the war more time to take lives, they are complicit and responsible,” Zelenskyy wrote in a social media post.
