Men charged over 'Grindr targeted' burglaries

Four men have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries targeting individuals on the LGBT dating app Grindr. Between October 2024 and March this year, the group allegedly carried out 35 burglaries and 20 related frauds, involving 22 victims across London. Rahmat Khan Mohammadi, 22, and Mohammed Bilal Hotak, 21, face charges of theft, burglary, and fraud and are set to appear in court. Mozamel Rahman, 29, and Ibrahim Yaqobie, 28, also face burglary and fraud charges, with a court appearance scheduled on August 8.
