Suffrage Cantata is a musical work composed by Andrea Ramsey, reflecting 72 years of the suffrage movement. It consists of five movements that incorporate historical perspectives from suffragists' messages, speeches, and writings. The Bay Area premiere is performed by the San José State University Choraliers and Concert Choir, along with Monta Vista High School Choirs. The performance includes projections and narration to enhance the storytelling of the fight for gender rights, with a talk preceding the concert and donations supporting the Young Women's Freedom Center.
