Third Man to Reissue Elliott Smith's Heatmiser's Final Album

Third Man Records is set to release a special edition of Heatmiser's last album, Mic City Sons, on July 25, marking its 30th anniversary. This reissue includes not only a remastered version of the original 12-song tracklist but also 12 unreleased tracks, including a 'Rock Version' of the popular Elliott Smith song 'Christian Brothers.' The surviving band members chose to revisit this project after collaborating on the Heatmiser anthology, reflecting on their artistic journey and the struggles they faced as a band, particularly during Elliot Smith's rise to fame.
The surviving members of Heatmiser have decided to reissue Mic City Sons on July 25, including remastered tracks and previously unreleased material, marking its 30th anniversary.
