Thursday’s City Section high school baseball results included Angelou 14–0 over Manual Arts, Birmingham 1–0 over Cleveland, and Chatsworth 13–3 over Taft. Collins Family won 21–1 against Central City Value, Diego Rivera defeated West Adams 21–0, and Franklin beat Hacienda Heights Wilson 8–7. Fremont topped Dorsey 12–1, Garfield edged South Gate 7–6, and Harbor Teacher defeated King/Drew 17–3. In softball, Camino Nuevo won 19–1 over Alliance Ouchi, Carson beat Rancho Dominguez 20–0, and Dorsey defeated King/Drew Hollywood 21–19. Mendez won 26–4 over RFK Community, Port of Los Angeles beat Harbor Teacher 21–1, and Vaughn defeated Grant 21–12.
