San Francisco Public Works is organizing a community greening day in District 6, including South of Market, Mission Bay, and the Financial District. Volunteers will participate in various activities such as gardening, mulching, litter pick-up, and graffiti abatement at different worksites. The event starts at the SF Public Works Street Tree Nursery with registration from 8:30 AM to 9 AM, followed by a short program and then heading to assigned work sites. Volunteers should dress appropriately and bring a reusable water bottle for hydration.
