Barracuda forward expresses frustration with Sharks: 'They know where I stand'
Briefly

Andrew Poturalski, a standout in the AHL, was named the league's MVP with 73 points and helped the San Jose Barracuda make the Calder Cup playoffs. Despite this, he only played three games for the Sharks due to multiple injuries within the team. After his brief stint, Poturalski returned to the minors, expressing disappointment over not receiving a more substantial chance at the NHL level. He reflects on the positive experiences with the Barracuda but remains eager to prove himself at the NHL level as he contemplates his future with the Sharks.
I want that opportunity to show that I can play at that level, and I feel like it should be for me to decide, and nobody else.
But in the same breath, I'm still chasing the NHL, and it was a little frustrating on that standpoint to not get a full chance with the Sharks.
