Briefly

Marshburn, a 64-year-old former NASA astronaut, completed 337 days in space, including five challenging spacewalks. He fell in love with space during high school, pursued a physics major and a graduate degree in engineering, and later trained in emergency medicine. His journey to NASA involved applying for flight surgeon roles in 1994, focusing on technical expertise and effective communication among various skills. After his time with NASA, he now holds a vice president position at Sierra Space.
