A new thermal pool discovered in Yellowstone National Park's Norris Geyser Basin formed between late December 2024 and early February 2025, becoming evident by mid-February. This feature, now approximately 13 feet wide, has a distinctive milky blue color attributed to dissolved silica. It is situated west of Tree Island, around 650 feet from popular visitor pathways.
