Fremont goes all in on AI boom' with new tech campus
Briefly

Construction of a 473,250-square-foot industrial complex in South Fremont commenced this week. The development team, alongside city officials, participated in a groundbreaking ceremony. Mayor Raj Salwan expressed strong optimism about attracting renowned tenants focused on artificial intelligence. The project features six buildings, with five able to supply 4,000 amps at 480 volts. Developed by CBRE, 9th St. Partners, and Clarion Partners, the campus will be completed in two phases, starting with 250,000 square feet. This endeavor is seen as a significant opportunity for assembly line-style tech manufacturers in the Bay Area.
The 473,250-square-foot complex spread over six buildings is only missing a key tenant, said Salwan, who added he is all in on the AI boom.
Salwan invited tech companies with innovative focuses such as artificial intelligence and air-taxis, or flying passenger vehicles to consider leasing or buying any or all of the project's six buildings.
Five of the six buildings are expected to be able to push out 4,000 amps at 480 volts per building.
The campus will open in two phases. First, about 250,000 square feet over three buildings will be finished in the middle of next year.
