Atletico Madrid has signed defender Marc Pubill from Almeria on a five-year deal. The 22-year-old performed well in his previous two seasons at Almeria, playing 34 LaLiga matches and providing four assists. Last season, he also secured four assists while playing in the second division. Additionally, Pubill featured prominently for Spain in the U21 Euros and earned a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. He is the seventh addition for Atleti during this summer transfer window, following several notable signings.

Pubill started in all four of Spain's matches during the U21 Euros this summer and won a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
