Italy have emerged as a surprise package led by 17-year-old Giulia Galli, who scored five goals and linked into Roma's senior setup after helping Italy to the U17 European Championship semi-finals. Brazil rely on 16-year-old Giovanna Waksman, a technically gifted forward who debuted for Brazil U17 at 14 and won player of the tournament at the 2024 South American Championship. Waksman has three goals in Morocco, including two in a 4-3 loss to Italy.
